These are pictures that I took on a trip to
Millennium Park.
Millennium Park is a place where a lot of people in Chicago go to see concerts and art outside. It is actually built on top of a roof! Before it was
Millennium Park it was a rail yard for the Illinois Central Railroad. That's where train switched train tracks and were repaired. These first two pictures are of the Crown Fountains. They are two giant fountains that face each other. The front of each fountain is like a giant TV screen and the pictures on it change to show faces of children from Chicago. It is made of thousands of glass brinks. They even rain down and spit out water where you can play!

Below are pictures of what people in Chicago call "The Magic Bean". Its real name is the Cloud Gate and it was built to welcome people into
Millennium Park. It doesn't look very big in the pictures but it is actually taller than your house! It took workers 10 years to make it this shiny and when you look into it you can see reflections of the entire city! It is like a giant curved mirror!

This is a picture I took standing under the bean looking up!
